FORT MYERS, Fla. — The San Carlos Park Fire & Rescue responded to a community pool house fire near 6362 Royal Woods Drive around 4 a.m. today.
SCPFD arrived to find the structure in flames but were able to quickly put the fire out. No one was there during the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The structure served as a community pool house and maintenance area.
The Fire Marshal has ruled the fire accidental and to have originated in the area of an electric golf/maintenance cart.
It’s assumed that the fire burned for a while due to the timing the fire was discovered.
Units from Iona-McGregor Fire, South Trail Fire, Estero Fire, Lee County EMS, and Lee County SO also responded to the fire.
