CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Construction has begun at the intersection of Coronado Pkway and SE 47th Terrace.
Crews are working on the underground utility lines as part of the SE 47th Terrace Streetscape Project in South Cape.
Southbound lanes of Coronado Parkway from SE 47th Street to Cape Coral Parkway will be closed for two weeks or until the work is completed.
Drivers traveling southbound on Coronado Parkway will be detoured around the work zone using SE 47th Street.
Detour signs will be used to assist drivers traveling through the detour.
The SE 47th Terrace Streetscape Project is designed to improve construction, water and sewage on the roadway from Coronado Parkway to SE 15th Avenue.
