LEE COUNTY, Fla., - A Lee County woman, with a taste for steak, was caught on camera stealing dozens of expensive meat from a Fort Myers Winn Dixie.

Deputies say it took four trips, and a thousand dollars worth of missing meat for them to realize all the meat was gone.

Deputies say she would load up her grocery cart with about a dozen packages of high end meat, casually slip it into her bag and walk out.

"It wasn't until she had left the store that they realized that we've just been cleaned out," said Trish Routte, with Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Routte says the suspect visited the Winn Dixie on Palm Beach Blvd in Fort Myers at least four times this month. She is a slim white female, approximately 5'9 to 6'10, with dark colored hair and dark tatoos on her upper arms and back.

"We feel pretty confident that somebody knows who she is and all we need to know is that name," Routte said.

If you have any information on the suspect in the image, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. You can always remain anonymous and can earn a cash reward.
