CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Drivers can expect delays headed southbound on Chiquita Boulevard Thursday.
The southbound lanes of Chiquita Boulevard are closed between Savona and Mohawk Parkways. Crews will be working on southbound lanes following a water main repair. Northbound traffic is not affected by this closure.
Drivers should avoid traveling in the area and should seek an alternative route.
The road is expected to reopen Friday afternoon.
