Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers needs help identifying a vehicle might be connected to a murder

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help tracking down a vehicle which may be connected to the murder of a 52-year-old man earlier this year.

Ronald Martin was found in the roadway near the intersection of Tropic Avenue and First Street in Fort Myers Shores in the early morning hours of April 2, 2019, the apparent victim of a gunshot wound.

Surveillance cameras from a business nearby captured an image of a vehicle which detectives believe may be connected to the crime.

Anyone with information about the vehicle, or any details regarding the murder of Ronald Martin, is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
