FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Officials at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) reports record-breaking numbers for May.
They say that over 725,000 passengers traveled through RSW in May 2019, an increase of 8.5% over May 2018.
Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 9.6 percent compared to last year.
The traffic leader in May was Delta Air Lines with 187,907 passengers traveling to and from Fort Myers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Southwest (141,576), American (122,639), JetBlue (85,852) and United (83,586).
