FORT MYERS, Fla. — Changes are coming to Southwest Florida International Airport.
Take a look at the proposed designs for an expansion to the passenger terminal at RSW.
The plans combine the current three security checkpoints into a single consolidated security checkpoint.
A consolidated security checkpoint allows for shorter wait times and connectivity between the concourses.
They are also adding an increased number of concessions.
The project is expected to cost $220 million.
Construction should begin next summer.
