NAPLES, Fla. — Southwest Florida is grieving the loss of Sgt. Jeffrey Reidy. First responders gathered in Collier County on Feb. 27, to pay their respects to the fallen Naples Police Sergeant.
Reidy was a 10-year veteran of the Naples Police Department (NPD). He was killed in an off-duty crash last Thursday night.

A walking procession of family and NPD personnel began at Naples Fire Department’s Fire Station 1 and led to the Cambier Park bandshell area at 6th Avenue South and 8th Street South, where funeral services were held.

Sgt. Reidy was awarded two Phoenix awards in Collier County for saving lives through his work as a police officer. He played many roles in the Naples Police Department, leaving an impact wherever he went, and his colleagues say the turnout at his service reflects that.

In addition, the community has been donating money for the family on Go Fund Me.
Reidy leaves behind a wife and four children.
