ST. JAMES CITY, Fla. — Firefighters were called out to the canal near Trawler Lane for a medical call.
When crews arrived around 12:30 p.m. Monday, they discovered a body in the canal.
The Lee County Sheriff Office is investigating the death.
Investigators don't believe the death is suspicious at this time.
