CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Englewood man is facing a charge of Aggravated Battery after deputies say he stabbed a man outside the Walmart early Wednesday.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to reports of a stabbing at the Walmart on South McCall Road just after 3 a.m.

The victim was located with a non-life threatening stab wound and was taken to the hospital.

The suspect was determined to be 29-year-old Dustin Saylor, who knows the victim. Saylor had fled the scene before deputies arrived, but was stopped and arrested hours later along San Casa Drive in Englewood.

Investigators say the victim accused Saylor of stealing his wallet, leading to a physical altercation, resulting in the stabbing.
