LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Narcotics Enforcement Task Force (NET FORCE), led by State Attorney Amira Fox, arrested 41 people within 36 hours during a major drug bust.
NET Force began in the city of Fort Myers with Chief Diggs in 2019. Multiple individuals were identified and an investigation led to targets distributing narcotics in Collier County.
The NET Force bust got $649,645 in illegal drugs off the street and $350,000 in cash from illicit drug sales.
The Lee County Sheriff, Hendry County, Collier Sheriff, Charlotte Sheriff, Glades Sheriff, Homeland Security, DEA, FMPD, CCPD involved among others in this coordinated effort.
State Attorney Amira Fox says this is an ongoing active operation.
