FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Next week, Florida Gulf Coast University will open a student and community counseling center.
Graduate-student interns will operate it.
The students will be able to offer counseling services to the community, and a trained counselor or professor will supervise.
The center will focus on patients who have depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship or family functioning issues.
The center is appointment only from 1pm-8pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
The fee is $25 an hour or whatever you make an hour, whichever is less.
