CAPE CORAL, Fla. — On June 22, 2020 around 6:10 pm, the Cape Coral Police Department located, Juan Kendrick Nieves, in the 2400 block of NW 28th Terrace, deceased inside of his vehicle.
Nieves was wanted in connection with an attempted homicide.
Neighbors say the suspect was involved in the stabbing attack of a woman believed to be the mother of his children.
"I thought someone had gotten shot. That’s what I thought it was. Then we heard later from the police that it was a stabbing."
People in the community say the Chrysler pulled into a driveway of a vacant home and was parked all-day.
"We were glad to see that he didn't break into the house, because after we heard everything we thought that maybe he could have been hiding in the house"
