FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The woman accused of killing a 14-year-old North Fort Myers girl in a hit and run last weekend remains in the Lee County Jail.
Four in Your Corner is keeping an eye to see when Courtney Gainey will bond out.
Gainey’s bond is set at $100,000 dollars.
She is charged with two counts of hit-and-run.
Lee county deputies say Gainey was behind the wheel in the crash that killed Allana on Saturday.
New court documents explain how deputies figured that out. They show deputies were tipped off to an SUV matching the description of the suspected vehicle in the crash, just a few streets away.
Deputies found damage to the SUV consistent with how the teens were hit and car parts left at the scene.
During a search of the SUV, deputies also connected some of the belongings, like mail and a medication bottle, to Gainey.
The next day a warrant was issued for her arrest. Gainey eventually turned herself in.
Lee County deputies say she also hit Allana's friend, who survived the crash.
