LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- U.S. Marshals say a man suspected of several bank robberies in Southwest Florida earlier this year has been shot dead in Kentucky.
57-year-old Edward J. Reynolds was pronounced dead Tuesday in Scott County, Kentucky after shots were fired while he was being apprehended.
Reynolds was a wanted suspect in at least four bank robberies in Southwest Florida.
