LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A tanker truck rollover crash in rural Lee County is blocking the eastbound lane of Alico Road.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. near Youngquist Brothers Rock, about 6 miles east of Interstate 75, and about 1 mile from the intersection with Corkscrew Road.
According to Florida Highway patrol, the truck veered right onto the road's shoulder, which gave way, causing the truck to roll into the ditch.
The tanker was carrying about 60,000 gallons of untreated water at the time. The truck has been drained and as of 12:30 pm, crews were still working to lift the truck out of the ditch.
The driver ws uninjured.
