FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Disciplinary action has been taken on two teachers that were caught having sex in a classroom before school at Heights Elementary School.
The principal caught Justin Pinto and Samantha Wilhide on May 4th, after someone told him they were meeting up in Pinto's classroom before school. When the principal arrived, according to a school report, Pinto was shirtless and was pulling up his pants, while Wilhide was not wearing pants or underwear.
When questioned, Pinto said only that he was sorry. The report says Wilhide said it was the first time they'd had sex, and also said she wasn't sure why she was in trouble, telling the principal "I an doing this on my own time and not being paid."
The report also shows that Pinto sent inappropriate texts to coworkers, including asking one to marry him, asking if she'd allow him to kiss her during class, and asking about sex more than once.
Pinto, a first year teacher, was released from his probationary contract.
Wilhide has been reassigned to the district office pending the outcome of her investigation.
