COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A Naples Park teen was arrested Thursday morning after investigators say she used another student's email account to send a threatening email to a teacher.

The 16-year-old female is charged with written threats to kill or do bodily injury, which is a felony.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the email was sent to the Barron Collier High School teacher on Sunday, and said “Shooting you and the school Tuesday”.

Detectives determined that the student associated with the e-mail address did not author it.

Using internet analytics, Collier County Public Schools assisted detectives in determining that the e-mail was sent from the suspect's cell phone. The investigation established that the other student had provided his log-in information to her earlier in the school year.
