LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- A 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after being hit by a car on Alabama Road South.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Isaac Quinones was riding northbound on Alabama Road near Palm Boulevard around 6:18 a.m. Thursday.
Troopers say Quinones made a left turn into the path of a car approaching from the rear and was hit on his left side,
He was taken to Lee Memorial in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
