Teen robbed at gun point outside gas station

Posted

A teenager says a man pointed a pistol in his face and robbed him before taking off.

It happened just feet away from his Cape Coral home near Mariner High School.

18-year-old Dallas Huff says he went to a nearby 7-Eleven gas station on Chiquita Blvd to get money and noticed a truck following him as he left.

"I started getting this feeling in my gut that everything was off once he turned his lights off," said Huff.

That's when a passenger hopped out of the vehicle and started waving a gun in his face demanding cash.

Dallas says he did what he was told and gave the man his wallet, credit card, and cash, but something bizarre happened before the robber took off.

"Afterwards when it was all said and done he said you're lucky man now give me some knuckles," said Huff.

The teen later called 9-1-1 but the robber is still on the run.

He says the robber drove a white Ford F-150 with a black camper attached
