LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County School Board has decided to move forward with the district's task force plan for the 2020-2021 school year.

A task force presented a plan to the board Wednesday.

Parents will have four options:

-Send students back to school
-Home school
-Virtual school where students work at their own pace
-Lee Home Connect, with live classes on Google Classroom

Buses will be cleaned after each route.

The task force also suggested that students wear masks during transition periods, and while social distancing isn't permitted.

According to the plan, temperature checks will happen every morning.

Students showing coronavirus symptoms will be isolated inside of a designated room.

This is a preliminary plan and could change in the future.
