Investigators are looking for information on a threat made at Cypress Lake Middle School.
Crime Stoppers said on Wednesday afternoon, someone wrote "Shooting Nov. 14" inside one of the handicap stalls in the girls bathroom.
The threat was found not to be credible, but detectives and school administrators are now trying to find who wrote the note.
Trish Route from southwest Florida Crime Stoppers says, even though this was a false threat there are repercussions.
Students could face felony charges that would stick with them until about age 24, Route said.
