CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say three juveniles aged 16 and under were arrested early Thursday morning after fleeing from police when their stolen car was stopped.
According to Cape Coral Police, an officer spotted a car driving with no lights on around 2 a.m. Thursday. When the officer stopped the car in a neighborhood off Skyline Boulevard near Mowhawk Parkway, the three occupants fled on foot.
All three were located and arrested.
The car's owner was contacted and reported that they did not know the car was missing.
Officers charged the teens, ages 16, 15, and 15, with Grand Theft Auto and Resisting without Violence.
