Tips from neighbors in Punta Gorda neighborhood land four people in jail

Four arrested after tips come in from neighbors

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — After receiving tips from neighbors, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for a home on Papaya Drive in Punta Gorda.

A search of the home revealed drugs and paraphernalia.

Approximately 2.5 grams of crystalline substance testing positive for Methamphetamine, and 27.7 grams of wax-like substance testing positive for THC.

There were a total of twenty-nine very small, separate, wax paper packages of the wax-like substance inside two separate bags.

One bag contained 15 of these wax paper packages, and the other contained 14. Based on training and experience, the packaging is consistent with narcotics sales.

Multiple syringes, scales, and smoking devices were located consistent with the use and sale of narcotics.

Inside a shed narcotics unit located a total of 0.9 grams of a loose crystalline substance that tested positive for Methamphetamine. A smoking device and bag with Methamphetamine residue and a digital electric scale were also collected from the shed.

Enoch L. Glover Jr., 42, Jonathan A. Dick,45, and Margo Dunn,45 were in the home and located in an outside shed was Teddy J. Marshall,25, and Mikaila R. I. McGinnis,22.

The four were arrested on several drug charges.
