CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A toddler died yesterday three days after an accident in a pool on Friday.
Police say his father found him at the bottom of the pool. The two-year-old boy was playing in front of a home on Northwest 39th Avenue. When his father went to check on him, he found the child in the pool.
Investigators say he performed CPR until crews took the boy to the Golisano Children's Hospital. He was pronounced dead while in the hospital yesterday.
