MARCO ISLAND, Fla. -- Who says cats don't like the water?
Photos of a bobcat doing the dog-paddle near Marco Island are going viral.
According to Marco Island Water Sports, the photos were taken by one of their tour guides near the village of Goodland. They say the guide turned their machine off and watched as the large cat made its way to dry land.
Wildlife officials say that while bobcats are abundant in the state, they prefer to remain stealthy and out of sight.
But that can be hard to do when they decide to make their way across waterways.
