FORT MYERS, Fla. — Motorists should expect intermittent closures of the southbound and northbound ramps on I-75 at Corkscrew Road (Exit 123) during nighttime/overnight hours from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 5 through Friday, Jan. 22, while crews resurface the roadway.
Variable message signs will be in place to alert drivers.
This work is being conducted as part of the I-75 at Corkscrew Road Interchange Improvement Project.
The construction project improvements include constructing additional left turn lanes, extending the on and off ramps, updated lighting, and new sidewalk.
The expected completion time is late spring 2021.
The contractor is Preferred Materials, Inc. and the project cost is $8.6 million.
