A Port Charlotte man was arrested for drug possession after Deputies pulled him over for not wearing his seatbelt, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said.
It happened at the intersection of Whidden Street and Harborview Drive on Tuesday.
Deputies stopped the driver, 25-year-old Devon Nostdahl for the traffic violation of not wearing his seatbelt. When Deputies reviewed his driver's license it revealed to be suspended, CCSO said.
While conducting a search in Nostdahl's car 222.1 grams of marijuana was located.
Nostdahl was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended and Drug Possession. He has since been released.
