FORT MYERS, Fla. – Troopers have identified the two victims of crash involving a motorcycle and pickup truck Saturday in Fort Myers.

Florida Highway Patrol says a motorcycle was head north on U.S. 41 just past Michael G. Rippe Parkway at a high rate of speed around 12:15 p.m.

That’s where a southbound pickup truck made a left turn into a driveway into the path of the motorcycle, which crashed into the passenger side of the truck.

The driver of the bike, 26-year-old Adam Herring, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the pickup truck, 46-year-old Rosalba Lorenzo, was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck had minor injury.

FHP is still investigating.
