SARASOTA, Fla. -- Two people are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Sarasota Sunday night.
It happened around 9 p.m. at the corner of Carver Street and Orange Avenue.
Police think the shooting happened next to a playground. They spent hours canvassing the area, looking for evidence and potential witnesses.
Police say one victim is a teenager and the other is an adult. There’s no other information on who they are at this time.
As of Monday morning, police say the victims remain in critical, but stable condition at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
