Two men accused of attacking and robbing man in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Investigators are searching for two men they say attacked and robbed a man in Fort Myers on Friday night.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, around 9:30 p.m. Friday, the victim had just left Bruno's Market on McGregor Boulevard near San Carlos Boulevard, and while walking to a friend's home he was unexpectedly hit in the face by one man, and then hit in the back of the head by another man.

The men grabbed $159 in cash in the victim's money clip and fled on foot, laughing.

Surveillance video shows the two suspects pulling up to the store shortly before the robbery.  The first suspect is a black male, approximately 5’8”, 200 pounds, and wore a do rag, a black long sleeved t-shirt and black pants with expensive white and silver high top sneakers.  The second suspect is approximately 6’0” tall, with long dredlocks tied in a knot on the top of his head.  The men were seen leaving the area in a dark colored Chevrolet sedan.
