Two men arrested for stealing a firearm from a gun show in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla — The Lee County Sheriff's Office has arrested two men who were caught on camera stealing a gun from the Lee County Civic Center Gun Show on Saturday.

Deputies arrived at the Lee County Civic Center for a theft of a firearm.

The victim told them that a custom Glock 26 was taken from its display while the victim helped other customers.

The gun is valued at $789.00.

After checking the surveillance video Jimmy Williams and Isaac Moore were both identified as the suspects.

Investigators say the next day, the two men came back to the Gun Show and attempted to buy a magazine and ammunition for the stolen Glock.

Both Williams and Moore are charged with Grand Theft of a Firearm.

Williams is a convicted felon and was also charged with Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
