Two men wanted in armed robbery at Fort Myers 7-Eleven

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Detectives are looking for two men who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

It happened at 2:53 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on S. Cleveland Avenue near the Pine Manor community.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, a black male suspect brandished a small caliber black semiautomatic pistol and demanded all the money from the cash register, while a Hispanic male suspect jumped over the counter with a black backpack and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money, as well as multiple Instant Lottery tickets.

The men quickly fled the store on foot, headed westbound on Palm Drive.

All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
