FORT MYERS, Fla. — Two people were trapped in a car accident on I-75 near mile marker 144 Sunday night.
Bayshore Fire Rescue says the car crashed into a cabbage palm tree, causing two people to be trapped in the vehicle.
Fire crews say they were extricated, and one person was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.
Fox 4 is working on learning more about what caused the crash.
