FORT MYERS, Fla. – Police are investigating after two people were discovered dead in a home in Fort Myers on Thursday.
Police say family members called about a woman who was in her room and wouldn't answer their calls. When officers arrived at the home om Floral Drive near Lantana Street, they found the bodies of a woman about 40 years old and her son, who's around ten.
We're told the woman may have died of an overdose.
This is an active investigation.
UPDATE: Police have identified the victims as 41-year-old Kenya Ellis and 10-year-old Julian Ellis. The investigation is on-going.
