MARCO ISLAND, Fla. -- The City of Marco Island is warning drivers of two road closures that begin next Monday.
The city says the closures will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 16, and last through Wednesday, December 18 at 5 p.m.
The closed roads will be 6th Avenue (between E. Elkcam Circle and Marco Lake Drive); and E. Elkcam Circle (between Collier Boulevard and Tallwood Street).
Both lanes will be closed to traffic during that period.
The closures are scheduled to allow crews to work on a newly constructed sanitary sewer forcemain.
