FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We're working to get you an update on the utility worker who was injured while dangling above the ground over the weekend.

This happened Sunday morning in Fort Myers in the 2000 block of Central Avenue.

The fire department says the man was installing cable on a 200-foot tower, when he got sick. They say he started to climb down, but fainted.

His harness kept him from falling to the ground. Fort Myers Fire Department crews, LCEMS and Fort Myers Police all responded and utilized a ladder truck and some advanced techniques to secure the worker.

The worker was reportedly being treated at Lee Memorial Hospital for a head injury.
