FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Fort Myers Thursday morning is causing extensive backups.
The crash happened around 8am near the Daniels Parkway exit, at mile marker 131.
All southbound lanes were closed for over half an hour, causing a several-mile backup.
Traffic began moving again around 8:45, but backups may linger in the area.
No word on whether there were any injuries in the crash.
**UPDATE (11AM)** -- Traffic is flowing smoothly in this area now.
