SANIBEL BEACH, Fla. -- Vice President Mike Pence is vacationing on Sanibel Beach this week.
The Vice President and his family are no strangers to the area. He's been spotted around the island attending Easter Sunday service at Sanibel Community Church and getting a haircut at Sanibel Beauty Salon Inc on Monday.
The owner of, Sanibel Beauty Salon Inc, sharing pictures, taken with Vice President Pence, on the salons Facebook page after the Vice President got a haircut there.
The Vice President and his wife arrived in Southwest Florida on Thursday. Pence is expected to be on Sanibel through April 6, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Pence visited the area during Easter Weekend last year and was a frequent visitor while governor in Indiana.
Last year he dined at the Timbers Restaurant and Fish Market and met a shark expert after he caught a 500 pound sawfish shark.
