HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — Hendry County has a new set of volunteers ready to protect our schools.
These are photos from the county's second 'Aaron Feis' Guardian Program graduation.
The volunteers are school guardians who cannot arrest anyone, but can carry a firearm, in case of an active shooting situation.
The volunteers have to complete 144 hours of firearm training Pass a psych evaluation and have a valid concealed firearm license among other requirements.
