A new group of celebrity singers will be performing under new extravagant costumes on the second season of Fox's hit show "The Masked Singer."

The hit singing competition returns Wednesday night on Fox 4, and the show is upping the ante with more star power, new costumes, and lots of clues.

“I don't even know who is underneath there, but I hear like several Grammy award winners, platinum recording artists, Emmy award winners, all of them are behind these masks," says host Nick Cannon.

“The outfits are stunning, and every episode I go, ‘oh that's my favorite.’ And then the next one I go, ‘oh no wait, that one's my favorite. Oh no that one's my favorite.’ You can't just pick. They're all beautiful," says judge Jenny McCarthy.

McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger are all returning this season as judges, along with host Nick Cannon.

Sixteen celebrities -- four more than the first season -- are going under cover, and the hints will be harder.

The guessing game begins Wednesday night with a two-hour premiere.
