FORT MYERS, Fla. — Wisner Desmaret, the man charged with killing Fort Myers Police Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller was back in court today for a pre-trial conference hearing.
The judge heard from the state and defense to determine if Desmaret is competent enough to stand trial for murder.
The state is seeking the death penalty.
