NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla-- A witness says he pulled two people from a burning car, moments after a crash sent that car into flames.
It happened Thursday morning, shortly after midnight on Northeast Pine Island Road and Herron Road, in North Fort Myers.
Mark Buenger says he was waiting to cross the when he saw it all happened.
“I went, got them out of their vehicles, then I used my flashlight to stop other traffic,” says Buenger.
Shortly after the initial crash, he says a pickup truck crashed into the existing accident. He adds those involved were taken to the hospital.
We are waiting for a statement from law enforcement on the crash.
