LABELLE, Fla. — An Alva woman was arrested for driving intoxicated and killing three people in January.
According to FHP, on Jan. 20, Anne Marie Lang, was driving her 2011 BMW east on State Road 80 in excess of 100 mph as a 2009 Chevrolet attempted to back from 5411 State Road 80 and entered the path of Lang's BMW.
The front of the BMW collided with the rear of the Chevrolet, killing the driver, a 42-year-old Labelle man, and two female passengers, a 13 and 15-year-old.
Lang was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital and later released.
A toxicology exam determined Lang’s blood-alcohol level to be .22.
Lang, 38, was arrested March 4, and is facing three counts of vehicular homicide, three counts of DUI manslaughter, and one count of DUI property damage.
