LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Lehigh Acres woman has filed a complaint saying she was a victim of battery in a Southwest Florida movie theater last week.
According to a Lee County Sheriff's Office incident report, the woman told investigators that she went to see a movie by herself at Bell Tower on Friday night. She says when she was purchasing wine at the theater's bar, another man asked her if she was there alone. She said yes and returned to her seat after the purchase.
She says the same man moved to a seat next to her and began to touch her over her clothes on the legs and breast. The woman brushed him away and left the theater.
The victim delayed reporting the incident to law enforcement for two days due to being "in shock".
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'9", 210 pounds with white/gray hair. He was wearing plaid shorts and a white Polo shirt.
