COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A first responder who had her vehicle stolen sees her silver Nissan Altima at a scene of a crash.
Collier County Sheriffs responded to a crash on 51st Street Southwest when a first responder noticed her vehicle parked nearby.
She alerted deputies and explained that she had reported her vehicle stolen on December 28th.
Deputies noticed Shantae Janisha Dolce, 26, was sitting in the driver’s seat of the Altima with the engine running.
After an investigation, Deputies say Dolce drove the stolen vehicle to the scene of a crash where the first responder was working.
Dolce was placed under arrest for Grand Theft Auto.
