FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A woman claims an unknown man groped her in a shopping center parking lot earlier this week.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the victim told investigators on Monday that she was shopping in the Dollar Tree on S. Tamiami Trail off Daniels Parkway when she noticed a man following her around the store.
She says after she paid for her items and left the store, the man followed her outside and approached her. She says the man quickly forced his hand between her legs and touched her privates over her clothes. He then fled to his car and drove off.
The victim described the suspect as a white male in his mid twenties or early thirties, wearing a red T-shirt, light blue jeans, with straight dirty blonde hair, and an unshaven beard and mustache.
