SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. -- Police say a woman was stuck inside a partially submerged SUV all night at a Venice boat ramp.
According to the Venice Police Department, on Thursday morning, a kayaker found the vehicle partially submerged at the Higel Boat Ramp and called 911.
The kayaker was able to rescue the occupant, who said they had been stuck in the vehicle since around 10 p.m. the night before.
The driver was in stable condition.
