SANIBEL, Fla. — A Woman Demanding action after she says a coyote took her dog from her backyard on Sanibel Island.
Carrie Toothman says she let her Yorkie twinkles out Monday night something she's done for almost ten years.
Not too long after she heard a small yelp and large footsteps running away into the woods behind her home.
That's when she discovered a Coyote ate the dog.
A study we found shows as many as 67 coyotes have been spotted on the island in recent years.
Its why Toothman says she wants police and wildlife officials to do more to protect everyone living there.
