Maids charged with stealing gun, electronics

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Two women working for a cleaning service have been arrested, accused to stealing items from a home.

29-year-old Stacy Pastoriza-Vasques and 33-year-old Bobbie Condon have been jailed on numerous charges.

According to Cape Coral Police, the victim says he returned home in the 900 block of SE 43rd Terrace to see a vehicle leaving his property that he recognized from an earlier visit from a cleaning service estimator.  Missing from his home were a 9mm pistol and three electronic items.

An officer recognized the vehicle and police were able to locate it an home a short distance away.  Officers arrived at that home to find the women still in their uniforms.  The stolen electronics were thrown in the pool and the stolen gun was found in their vehicle.

The women were arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Investigators are looking through a client list to see if there are more victims.

Pastoriza-Vasques was charged with Armed Burglary, Grand Theft, Grand Theft Firearm, Felony Criminal Mischief, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Knowingly Driving with License Suspended or Revoked.

Condon was charged with Armed Burglary, Grand Theft, Grand Theft Firearm, and Felony Criminal Mischief.
